Winter Wedding in Downtown Boulder Colorado

John and Lily got married in Boulder, CO at The Rembrandt Yard, an art gallery and wedding venue that offers iconic views of downtown Boulder. Since it was early December, the excitement of Christmas was everywhere, it was the perfect time of year to get all friends and family together for a one of a kind celebration!

I loved the way John and Lily organized their wedding day, it was non-traditional and flowed so well. All speeches were done at the rehearsal dinner the night before their wedding at Hotel Boulderado, doing this allowed for more friends and family to speak in a less daunting environment. On the day of their wedding, the couple did a first look and did most of their family and bridal party formals at The St. Julian Hotel with the flatirons in the background, allowing for more time to mingle with wedding guests after their ceremony.

Following their ceremony, they forwent a sit-down dinner, instead, they had 8 food stations set up throughout the art gallery, so guests could move about freely and mingle before the dancing started. This was such a genius way of providing an array of food options for guests and it allowed them to really enjoy the Rembrandt Art Gallery. Kaitlin Shea helped make this vision come to life with beautiful lounge areas throughout the gallery and perfectly timed transitions throughout the day.
